Class Act Theatrix was set up by West-end actress Ashley J Russell (see below) to provide pre-school, primary, secondary and special needs school teachers with great value, fun and engaging drama, dance and musical theatre lessons for their pupils. Ashley has over ten years experience in teaching and performance and is based in Moseley, Birmingham in the West Midlands.
Class Act Theatrix will create bespoke programmes that can be taught within your school premises, catering to all age groups, abilities and group sizes. Our classes are designed to support pupil development by:

• Language and communication skills
Most importantly we create a safe, creative learning environment where students are taught by DBS checked professionals maximizing learning potential and having FUN!
Ashley originates from Central Scotland and began performing at a young age under the direction of Caroline Newlands and also McKechnie School of Dance and Performing Arts. This strong foundation lead her to perform professionally with The Scottish Ballet and Rambert Dance Company. She then gained a BA in Acting at Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh and furthered her training with an MA in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London under the prestigious Dame Judy Dench Scholarship.
